Ms. Samaneh Bayat, M.A. is a licensed Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Certified Canadian Counselor (CCC) with the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association.
- Ms. Bayat’s academic credentials include:
Bachelor’s degree in science with honors in Psychology, York University. Toronto (2009) - Master’s degree in Public Policy & Administrative Law, York University. Toronto (2013)
- Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University (2019).
Ms. Bayat is an advanced Emotionally Focused Couple therapist and is actively involved with Internal Family System (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) courses and workshops on an ongoing basis. She has been providing lectures and workshops for the Iranian community in Canada, in the field of Mental Health, for more than 200 hours as a volunteer.
Ms. Bayat has been a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2019. She completed specialized training in several psychotherapeutic modalities: Client-centered Psychotherapy; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Group CBT; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Motivational Interviewing; Emotionally Focused Couple and Individual therapy (EFT).

Ms. Bayat has been delivering structured and evidence-based psychotherapy, crisis support/planning, mental health assessment, and treatment services for individuals, couples, and families, with a diverse, multicultural population. Her clientele includes adult individuals, teenage children, couples, and families. The issues she is particularly skillful in include PTSD; chronic pain; depression; OCD, bipolar, personality disorders, mood disorders and anxiety; and adjustment problems with cultural shock.
